This something to do with the intake camshaft timing please check dtc memory of engine ecu retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust bank 3, probe 1 heating circuit of electrical errors or change event data recorder request, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
05641 Possible Causes:
05641 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05641 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system bank 2, high air flow
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
