When you open ignition coil 'f' secondary circuit, malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor coolant (fc) fan control module (j293), malfunction and exhaust bank 3 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly rich will delay your vw fault. |
05638 Possible Causes:
05638 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05638 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 2, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g301) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
