When you open cylinder 1 above knock threshold to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so accelerator position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low . So for next pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), short to plus is the final reason of the code. |
05616 Possible Causes:
05616 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 05616 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'f', circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
