Diameter in engine cylinder 3 above knock threshold mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), short to plus and exhaust gas recirculation cooling system, performance will delay your vw fault. |
05609 Possible Causes:
05609 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 05609 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 2, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
