The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, interruption retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start data bus powertrain, missing message from clutch control . So for next glow plug control module 2 (j703), electrical malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
056 Possible Causes:
056 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 056 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic pump for overdrive / low range (v190), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
