Diagnosing engine bar with fuel pump, electronics faulty causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system oxygen sensor bank 3 sensor 1, voltage too low also auxiliary engine coolant (ec) pump relay (j496), open or short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
05597 Possible Causes:
05597 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05597 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine- / transmission control modules, versions do not match
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
