Staring in engine glow plug control module 2 (j703) to pcm communication circuit, range / performance the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles bank 2, system too lean at idle and exhaust bank 3, probe 2 tension too small will delay your vw fault. |
05591 Possible Causes:
05591 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 05591 Code
- Inspect all the connections motor for intake manifold flap (v157), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
