05579 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing bank 2, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g301), interruption / short-circuit to pluses retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start injector control pressure sensor, circuit high also injector control pressure sensor, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |

05579 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders

- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 05579 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor bank 1, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
