When you open data bus powertrain, missing messages run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed please check dtc memory of transmission ecu or change exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 2, circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
05555 Possible Causes:
05555 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05555 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for exhaust cooling agent (n313), interruption / short-circuit after mass
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
