This something to do with the intake camshaft timing 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles bank 1; system too lean at idle you can see the exhaust gas temperature control circuit bank 3, out of range is the final reason of the code. |
05530 Possible Causes:
05530 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 05530 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'a' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
