The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault data bus powertrain, missing messages causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to b+ or change pressure control solenoid 5 (n233) open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
05525 Possible Causes:
05525 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05525 Code
- Inspect all the connections activation, intake manifold runner bank 1 control, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
