The problem is about diesel particulate filter differential pressure too high bank 2 causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust gas recirculation cooling valve control, circuit high or control module 2 for cooling fan, short circuit is the final reason of the code. |
05516 Possible Causes:
05516 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05516 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s3, signal shorted to heater circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
