05514 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, electrical error in the electric circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start intake manifold flap; bank 1, stuck open and coolant fan 2 (v177), open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
05514 Possible Causes:
05514 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05514 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
