Staring in engine metering pump for cleaning solution, faulty causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly rich or intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 1 is the final reason of the code. |
05505 Possible Causes:
05505 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 05505 Code
- Inspect all the connections radiator fan 3 (v284), movement restricted / jammed
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
