055 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system 'a' rocker arm actuator control, circuit / open you can see the secondary air injection system switching valve bank 1, stuck closed is the final reason of the code. |
055 Possible Causes:
055 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 055 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
