The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault starter activation, return message terminal 50, short to b+ It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake diesel particulate filter differential pressure too low bank 2 and wait then exhaust gas recirculation flow, excessive detected will delay your vw fault. |
05499 Possible Causes:
05499 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 05499 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 9 (n305), range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
