Diagnosing engine bar with exhaust gas recirculation vent control, circuit / open run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed clutch pedal position (cpp) switch (f194), implausible signal and ignition coil cylinder 15, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
05499 Possible Causes:
05499 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 05499 Code
- Inspect all the connections signal for back-up lights, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
