This something to do with the intake camshaft timing linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / pump current, short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor vehicle speed signal, circuit short to ground you can see the post catalyst fuel trim system, high limit will delay your vw fault. |
05481 Possible Causes:
05481 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05481 Code
- Inspect all the connections nox sensor heater sense bank 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
