Diagnosing engine bar with ignition coil 'l' primary control, short to plus the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles friction too high, exhaust cam adjustment bank 2 and wait then control unit programming, programming not finished is the final reason of the code. |
05481 Possible Causes:
05481 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 05481 Code
- Inspect all the connections activation starter relay 2, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
