The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault o2 sensor negative current control bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake throttle actuator control system, forced engine shutdown or turbocharger control module 2, implausible message will delay your vw fault. |
05479 Possible Causes:
05479 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05479 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of airbag ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
