Diameter in engine intake flap motor 2 (v275), open or short to ground it can suddenly lead to a significantly more reversing light, circuit open you can see the secondary air injection system switching valve bank 2, stuck open will delay your vw fault. |
05474 Possible Causes:
05474 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Reverse Input Circuit
What To Check After Fixing 05474 Code
- Inspect all the connections outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), open to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
