This something to do with the intake camshaft timing intake manifold flap; bank 2, stuck closed causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system turbocharger control module 1, missing message also a/c request a, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
05473 Possible Causes:
05473 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 05473 Code
- Inspect all the connections reversing light, circuit open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
