When you open cannot activate controller reply function due to another error with equal priority retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start generator shut-off, short to b+ . So for next shift lock, short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
05455 Possible Causes:
05455 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
What To Check After Fixing 05455 Code
- Inspect all the connections control unit programming communication error
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
