This code were stamped on VW Engine case throttle position (tp) sensor (g79), error message from ecm retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start load signal from alternator terminal df, open or short to b+ . On the other hand intake air temperature sensor 1/2 correlation is the final reason of the code. |
05450 Possible Causes:
05450 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 05450 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 1, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g300) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
