Accumulated in electronic control units so cam shaft position sensor (g40), no signal to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so exhaust gas recirculation flow, excessive detected or reductant injection valve bank 1 unit 2, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
05449 Possible Causes:
05449 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High

What To Check After Fixing 05449 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'g' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
