05446 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust gas recirculation cooling system, performance to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so injector cylinder 15 (n392), open circuit also relays for large amount of heat (j360), disconnected or short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
05446 Possible Causes:
05446 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 05446 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'd', maximum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
