This code were stamped on VW Engine case turbocharger boost control position sensor 'b', circuit range / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor mass-airflow sensor 3 (g456), signal to low . On the other hand please check dtc memory of instrument panel ecu is the final reason of the code. |
05446 Possible Causes:
05446 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 05446 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'j' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
