Staring in engine intake manifold runner control, lower stop not reached mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 1 sensor 1, circuit range / performance also oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s1, pump current, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
05444 Possible Causes:
05444 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 05444 Code
- Inspect all the connections reversing light, circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
