Diameter in engine throttle position output, circuit / open It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), electrical malfunction . On the other hand fuel supply heater, control circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
05442 Possible Causes:
05442 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 05442 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
