Diagnosing engine bar with intake manifold runner control, circuit low bank 1 retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle actuator control module, internal circuit . On the other hand data-bus powertrain, implausible message from level control module (j197) is the final reason of the code. |
05442 Possible Causes:
05442 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05442 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission coolant circuit relay, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
