Staring in engine secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles nox sensor heater control bank 1, circuit / open . On the other hand fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit low is the final reason of the code. |
05440 Possible Causes:
05440 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 05440 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel tank pressure (ftp) sensor (g400), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
