When you open control module 1 for cooling fan, short circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start bank 1, exhaust cam wave position sensor (g300) / crankshaft position sensor (g28), wrong allocation and throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd', circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault.
