The problem is about fuel injection valve 4 (n369), short to b+ the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles a/c request b, circuit . So for next throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
05431 Possible Causes:
05431 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 05431 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant degassing valve, control circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
