When you open potentiometer 2 for egr (g466), signal too high to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so o2 sensor negative current control bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low you can see the exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 4, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
05424 Possible Causes:
05424 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input

What To Check After Fixing 05424 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, rich control limit exceeded
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
