05424 Description And Summary : |

When you open intake flap motor 2 (v275), open or short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start radiator exhaust control 2, short-circuit after mass or change power supply voltage, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
05424 Possible Causes:
05424 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 05424 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor 'f', maximum stop performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
