When you open butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), under voltage during basic adjustment to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so water in fuel sensor, circuit intermittent or injection pump, fuel calibration not learned is the final reason of the code. |
05424 Possible Causes:
05424 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05424 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
