The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault vehicle speed signal, circuit short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor ignition coil 'd' primary control, short to plus you can see the intake manifold runner control, lower stop not reached is the final reason of the code. |
05423 Possible Causes:
05423 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 05423 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection air pressure sensor 'a', circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
