Diameter in engine catalyst system exhaust bank 4, effectiveness too low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor fuel injector group 'c' supply voltage, circuit / open or linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 2 / common ground wire, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
05422 Possible Causes:
05422 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 05422 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle position output, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
