This something to do with the intake camshaft timing please check dtc memory of central electric ecu to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so hydraulic pressure sensor 1, range / performance . So for next ignition coil cylinder 13, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
05420 Possible Causes:
05420 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 05420 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injector group 'd' supply voltage, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
