This code were stamped on VW Engine case exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit / open the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles fuel mixture control adjustment range 2, lower limit not reached also exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 1 (g448), range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
05409 Possible Causes:
05409 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low

- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to ground
