Staring in engine friction too high, exhaust cam adjustment bank 1 It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake pressure control solenoid 6 (n371) open / short to ground . On the other hand linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / common ground wire, open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
05404 Possible Causes:
05404 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections particulate trap bank 1, efficiency below threshold
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
