05402 Possible Causes:
05402 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low

What To Check After Fixing 05402 Code
- Inspect all the connections data bus powertrain, missing message from instruments panel ecu
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
