The problem is about o2 sensor signals swapped bank 1 sensor 2 / bank 1 sensor 3 It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake fuel level sensor 2, performance and wait then sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal high is the final reason of the code. |
05402 Possible Causes:
05402 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 05402 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
