Staring in engine valve for pump - jet, cylinder 2 (n241), electrical malfunction It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake powertrain databus, implausible engine temperature message from inst. or change camshaft position signal output, circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
05401 Possible Causes:
05401 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
What To Check After Fixing 05401 Code
- Inspect all the connections barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
