This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ecm/pcm internal engine off timer, performance to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so throttle closed position, performance or turbocharger speed sensor, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
05398 Possible Causes:
05398 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05398 Code
- Inspect all the connections injector control pressure sensor, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
