This something to do with the intake camshaft timing turbocharger 2 control module (j725), voltage supply outside permissible range causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit high and charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
05396 Possible Causes:
05396 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05396 Code
- Inspect all the connections starter relay 1, electrical malfunction in circuit (relay stuck / does not switch)
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
