When you open exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 2 sensor 5, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start event data recorder request, circuit high also pressure control solenoid 5 (n233) open / short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
05393 Possible Causes:
05393 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 05393 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission mount valve 2 (n263), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
