05385 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault data bus powertrain, no communication retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start ignition coil 'f' primary control, circuit low or change vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
05385 Possible Causes:
05385 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 05385 Code
- Inspect all the connections a camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
