05385 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit intermittent run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed valve 2 for load pressure control (n274), interruption/short-circuit after mass or temperature sensors for drive cycle radiator exhaust (g382), signal too small is the final reason of the code. |
05385 Possible Causes:
05385 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05385 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
