Staring in engine secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit open circuit the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles data bus powertrain, no message from transmission controller (tcu) and wait then secondary air injection system control 'b', circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
05382 Possible Causes:
05382 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 05382 Code
- Inspect all the connections outside temperature sensor 2 (g249), short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
