This something to do with the intake camshaft timing injection pump, timing calibration not learned to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so exhaust gas recirculation throttle control, circuit 'a' high also ignition coil 'f' secondary circuit, malfunction will delay your vw fault. |
05381 Possible Causes:
05381 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 05381 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 heater circuit, open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
