The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, electrical error to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so pressure control solenoid 1 (n215), short to b+ also control module throttle actuator position, performance is the final reason of the code. |
05378 Possible Causes:
05378 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High

- Inspect all the connections engine torque reduction, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
