The problem is about camshaft position signal output, circuit / open It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake ecm/pcm power input, signal intermittent and wait then exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
05373 Possible Causes:
05373 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05373 Code
- Inspect all the connections transmission range display, circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
