The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault injection pump timing offset causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system hydraulic pressure sensor 2, too high you can see the motor for intake manifold flap (v157), open / short to ground is the final reason of the code. |
05358 Possible Causes:
05358 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
What To Check After Fixing 05358 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor exhaust sample error bank 1 sensor 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
