Diagnosing engine bar with throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', minimum stop performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start bank 1 sensor 1, internal resistance too high and wait then manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at idle will delay your vw fault. |
05353 Possible Causes:
05353 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 05353 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet, cylinder 3 (n242), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
