When you open exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 4, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor pressure control solenoid 2 (n216), short to b+ or torque management request input signal b, low will delay your vw fault. |
05338 Possible Causes:
05338 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 05338 Code
- Inspect all the connections shift lock, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
