This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel mixture control adjustment range 3, lower limit not reached It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake a/c control module requested, mil illumination also sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal low is the final reason of the code. |
05331 Possible Causes:
05331 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 05331 Code
- Inspect all the connections shift lock, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
