Diameter in engine load signal, error message from ecu retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'd' / 'f', voltage correlation and intake manifold tuning (imt) valve position sensor / switch bank 1, circuit is the final reason of the code. |
05317 Possible Causes:
05317 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 05317 Code
- Inspect all the connections cooling bypass valve 2, exhaust gas recirculation flow, electrical
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
